شاركونا إحياء ذكرى ضحايا الردة بالتوقيع على هذه العريضة

قام التحالف العالمي لمنظمات المسلمين السابقين International Coalition of Ex-Muslim Organizations بإعلان 22 أغسطس آب اليوم العالمي للردة، وذلك ابتداء من العام 2020.

ما الردة، وما دواعي تكريس يوم لاستذكارها؟

قد يفضل العديدون من المسلمين السابقين عدم تبنّي كلمة ردة لما لها من تداعيات دينية سلبية، لكن علينا ألا ننسى أن قوانين الكثير من الدول الإسلامية تذكر الردة بالاسم وتعاقب عليها، مما يعني أنها وإن كانت كلمة لا تعبر عن الهوية التي تتبناها غالبية من يتركون الإسلام، إلا أننا لا نزال نعاني من تبعات هذا المفهوم في القوانين المعاصرة، وعلينا محاربتها بنفس اللغة المستعملة في تطبيقها.

تتم معاقبة الردة بالإعدام في أفغانستان وإيران وماليزيا وجزر المالديڤ وموريتانيا وقطر والمملكة العربية السعودية والصومال واليمن وكذلك في الإمارات العربية المتحدة. إضافةً إلى تجريمها في عديد الدول ذات الغالبية المسلمة.

ففي پاكستان، يعاقب الكفر بالله بالإعدام بمجوجب القانون الذي يجرّم ازدراء الدين، وترى السعودية أن الإلحاد يعادل الإرهاب، وفي بعض البلدان التي لا توجد فيها عقوبة الإعدام، يقتل الإسلاميون من يصفونهم بالمرتدين، بما في ذلك في بنغلادش وفي أوساط الأقلية المسلمة في الهند.

أما في بلدان أخرى في الغرب، كحال أوروپا وأميركا الشمالية، فيواجه المرتدون التهديدات والنبذ والعنف من قِبل عائلاتهم والمجتمع المسلم المحيط. لكن عواقب الردة لا تقتصر على المسلمين، فاليهود الأرثوذوكس والمسيحيين والهندوس وغيرهم يواجهون كذلك النبذ والعنف إذا ما تركوا دينهم.

لقد تم اختيار يوم 22 من أغسطس آب كيوم الردة العالمي لأنه اليوم الذي اختارته الأمم المتحدة لإحياء ذكرى ضحايا أعمال العنف التي تُرتكب باسم الدين أو المعتقد UN Day Commemorating the Victims of Acts of Violence Based on Religion or Belief. علاوة على ذلك، تمثل نهاية أغسطس آب بداية الموجة الثانية من الإعدامات الجماعية للمرتدين في إيران عام 1998، بعد «محاكمات» صورية قصيرة تبعتها إعدامات سريعة راح ضحيتها أشخاص أجابوا سلبًا على أسئلة من نمط «هل أنت مسلم؟»، «هل تؤمن بالله؟»، «هل القرآن كلام الله؟»، «هل تعترف بأن محمدًا هو خاتم الأنبياء؟»، «هل تصوم رمضان؟»، «هل تصلي وتقرأ القرآن؟».

مع إعلاننا يوم الردة هذا نجدد دعوتنا إلى:

• إحياء ذكرى ضحايا قوانين الردة.
• إنهاء التجريم وعقوبة الإعدام على الردة في البلدان العربية الخاضعة للشريعة الإسلامية.
• وضع حد للنبذ والتهديد وما يسمى بجرائم الشرف التي ترتكبها العائلات بحق المرتدين منهم.
• التأكيد على حريتنا في الفكر والضمير والمعتقد وكذلك الرأي والتعبير وفقًا لإعلان الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان (المادتين 18 و19).
